Labour leadership hopeful Jeremy Corbyn may be drawing hundreds of young voters to his rallies, but a new poll shows that the hard-left candidate may not have what it takes to bring them to the ballot box at a General Election.
ComRes found that 43 per cent of likely voters between the ages of 18 and 24 may vote for the Tories in the next election, compared to 27 per cent for Labour.
It comes just one week after YouGov found that university students lean to the left when it comes to the EU, climate change and immigration issues …but on economic issues such as minimum wage and wealth distribution their allegiance actually falls to the right of the general public.
