Jedinak struck with FA charge
CRYSTAL Palace skipper Mile Jedinak has been slapped with a charge of violent conduct by the Football Association (FA) after allegedly elbowing West Ham forward Diafra Sakho in Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Upton Park.
The FA took retrospective action yesterday after the incident went unseen by the match officials. Jedinak has until 6pm to respond to the charge but is expected to miss tonight’s trip to Southampton regardless.
The 30-year-old Australia midfielder would face a four-game suspension if found guilty having already been dismissed this season, during November’s defeat to Sunderland at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles face QPR, Stoke and Manchester City after tonight.
