Jackett rules himself out
FOOTBALL: Kenny Jackett has ruled himself out of the running to succeed John Toshack for the vacant Wales job.
The Millwall boss emerged as the odds-on favourite to manage his country following Toshack’s expected resignation after six years in charge yesterday.
But ex-Wales star Jackett said: “This is certainly not the right time for me.”
Former international Chris Coleman and current Under-21 boss Brian Flynn are also in the running, while Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is a long shot at 14-1.
