ITV shakes up management team
ITV has shuffled its commercial management team, the firm said yesterday, appointing Channel 5’s former sales director Kelly Williams and Simon Daglish, the man once responsible for MySpace’s commercial presence in the UK. The media group will also lose its commercial director Gary Digby and several other senior executives. Trading director Simon Lent, commercial director Jeremy Lawrence, and creative solutions director Simon Orpin are all set to leave their posts, ITV said. The shake-up comes after chief executive Adam Crozier’s appointment in April, when he said he planned an overhaul. Managing director of commercial and online Fru Hazlitt carried out a review of the division and said the changes were part of being more “client-obsessed”.
