It’s happening again – Gordon Dadds secures permission for a pop-up beach in Brixton
You thought it was over…
Pop-up beaches were the most fashionable way to kill time in London last year with everyone from Canary Wharf's bankers to office workers in Chiswick getting sand in their toes to celebrate the summer, and 2016 looks to be no different as City lawyers have overseen an application for a south London seaside venture.
Gordon Dadds has secured permission for the creation of a Brixton Beach Boulevard pop up this summer.

The 1980s Miami-themed fun by Odd Events, will open at the end of May for 14 weeks, raising money for local charities.
Gareth Hughes at Gordon Dadds said: "Once the site is constructed it will bring back into use and reinvigorate a rundown space with a host of artistic and cultural activities as well as some of the most exciting entertainment and the tastiest street food around."
Gordon Dadds should be every City drinker's favourite law firm – earlier this year the company also secured late licences for two new private members' clubs in the City and Shoreditch.
Freddie Fison of Odd Events said: "We are very pleased to have been granted a full licence by Lambeth Council and are really excited about bringing a fully interactive Miami beach to the heart of Brixton."
"We hope that it will be an exciting and enjoyable experience for the local community, while also raising funds for good causes."
