House prices slip in June
House prices dropped 0.6 per cent in June, according to figures from the Nationwide.
It said the end of the stamp duty holiday in March, which lifted the market early in the year, had contributed.
The annual fall in prices is 1.5 per cent, the sharpest decline in almost three years, the building society said.
