Hibu chairman looks to start new chapter
SENTIMENTAL fans of the old fashioned phone book weren’t the only ones mourning the demise of Hibu, née Yellow Pages – chairman Bob Wigley, who fought pretty hard to save the ailing company, must have also been saddened to see it go into administration (although maybe not as much as angry shareholders who lost their cash). But they do say moving on helps you to soothe the pain of loss, and The Capitalist has learned that the seasoned businessman is taking up the chairmanship of ad audit company Telemetry.
“Online advertising is a rapidly expanding industry and their contractual right to independently audit value is becoming paramount to advertisers,” said a happier Wigley.
