Bookies Labrokes, PaddyPower and SportingIndex celebrate massive election day bets

As the General Election went to the wire, big bets were being placed at the bookies. 

 

Ladbrokes took a £50,000 bet on polling day from a London based customer, who was backing Ed Miliband’s party to win the most seats at odds of 4/1. This is the biggest bet on Labour at any bookmaker this election.

 

PaddyPower also took significant one of bets of £10,000 and £15,000 on Labour to win the most seats today,  at odds of 7/2. 

 

Spreadbetter SportingIndex has also seen significant movement towards Labour during the course of today, with the market adding four seats to their predicted total. The spread betting market forecast Labour would get 269 seats, with the Conservatives predicted 286 at 8.30pm.
