Has your iPad Pro gone black? Apple confirms there’s a problem with tablet freezing
Apple has confirmed that there is a problem with its new iPad Pro, which it launched in September with business users in mind.
The Cupertino-based company posted a message on its support site advising users how to deal with an issue which saw the tablet stop responding.
Under the headline "If your iPad Pro stops responding and the screen is black", Apple said it was investigating the issue where the tablet doesn't respond when a user presses buttons or taps on the screen.

"To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo," the advice read.
"Apple is aware of this issue and is investigating."
Apple did not confirm when a fix was likely to be released but said it would be updating its advice as more information became available.
The confirmation comes after a number of users complained online that their new devices had frozen after charging.
