Halma sees boost to profits
British safety, health and sensor technology group Halma has reported a rise in full-year pretax profit to £104.6m to 2 April compared with £86.2m a year ago. Total revenues rose 13 per cent to £518.4m with strong organic growth in its health and analysis division and in emerging markets. Revenue contribution from outside the UK, rest of Europe and the US was about 24 per cent, compared with 21 per cent last year.
