GVC Holdings appoint new chief product officer after acquisition of online sports betting firm bwin in February
Sports betting and online gaming firm GVC Holdings has created a new chief product officer role following its acquisition of bwin.party digital entertainment.
Liron Snir has been appointed GVC's first chief product officer, who will oversee product management and user experience on the company's digital betting platforms.
Bwin.party, a B2B and B2C sports betting brand and owner of British spreadbetting broker InterTrader, was acquired by GVC on 1 February this year.
As well as bwin, GVC's brands include SportingBet, Gamebookers, PartyPoker and Foxy Bingo.
"Liron’s considerable expertise in online gaming, product development, product integration and platform assimilation will be an invaluable asset in ensuring growth follows the successful integration of GVC’s and bwin.party’s products, brands and operations. This appointment reflects our commitment to delivering best of breed products and services to our growing client base," Kenny Alexander, chief executive of GVC Holdings, said.
Snir was previously the former vice president of product and strategy at Playtech, where he supervised the Playtech's customer portfolio, and prior to that business intelligence team leader at 888.com.
