GoPro has announced two new cameras despite seeing revenues plunge over the last three months
Plunging revenues have not been enough to halt optimism at camera maker GoPro.
The US firm has announced plans to launch a consumer drone and the latest version of its wearable cameras by the end of the year.
It comes despite the firm revealing a second quarter loss of $91.7m (£69.4m), compared to an equivalent figure of a $35m profit last year.
Similarly, revenues tumbled 47 per cent on a year-on-year basis, dropping to $220.8m, down from $419.9m last year.
However, the figures were nonetheless enough to beat analyst expectations.
According to Yahoo Finance, average estimates from analysts had included revenues of $194m.
