Dancers trained under the famous Elizabeth Streb will perform in front of Tower Bridge. They will perform a series of daredevil routines as part of the Mayor of London Presents and London 2012 Festival. THEATRE TOL AND AKADEMI

An international mash-up of dance, lights and acrobatics that is sure to mesmerise all the family. Belgian troupe Tol will link up with the South Asian Akademi for this unique show. SOMERSET HOUSE SUMMER SERIES
Somerset House, 7-19 July
Enjoy a host of open-air music events in the historic surroundings of Somerset House. Artists as diverse as Tim Minchin, Paloma Faith, Anna Calvi, Jill Scott will play on various dates. OUTDOOR SCULPTURE
All summer, South Bank
The Mayor of London’s office is planning a host of cultural events over the summer, including some impressive sculptures to decorate the South Bank. One such creation is the interactive “Bloom”, which invites passers by to add to it or start new branches nearby. Another includes a giant shot put. SACRILEGE

Jeremy Deller has been showing that art can be fun for years. His latest installment, an inflatable replica of Stonehenge, is further proof. Visitors are invited to bounce on the Turner Prize winner’s creation as it visits 14 locations across the capital. Soak up some art and get fit at the same time – and the kids will love it too. OPERA HOLLAND PARK

Head over to one of London’s finest parks for a spot of outdoor opera. Performances will include a day of Puccini on 14 July.
