Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy has lost his seat to the Scottish National Party in a major upset for the party.
The SNP has already picked up tens of seats north of the border confirming predictions that the party led by Nicola Sturgeon could take every single seat in Scotland, essentially wiping out Labour in the country.
The SNP's Kirsten Oswald won East Renfrewshire with around 23,000 votes, pushing Murphy into second with around 19,000 votes.
Around 25 Scottish constituencies have been announced so far, with the SNP winning all seats, having either retained or gained the seat from another party.
