Redknapp hopeful on Lennon
TOTTENHAM boss Harry Redknapp has eased fears over Aaron Lennon’s latest injury setback, insisting the winger could be back in action in a couple of weeks.
The 22-year-old suffered a setback on his return from a groin injury in training on Monday and scans have now revealed a new tear in the same area.
Redknapp said: “Hopefully it should not put him back much from where he was, and he could still be fit in a couple of weeks.”
Mancini expects Tevez return
MANCHESTER CITY boss Roberto Mancini expects Carlos Tevez to return to the club later this week in time for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea.
The Argentine was granted compassionate leave and allowed to return to his homeland after his wife gave birth to a baby daughter prematurely.
Mancini said: “I spoke with him on Monday and he will come back on Thursday or Friday morning. I am sure.”
