Firestone to start work on mine
Aim-listed miner Firestone Diamonds yesterday said it is set to start building the main treatment plant at the Liqhobong diamond mine in the Lesotho Highlands, after the company raised $225.2m (£137.3m) from financing agreements. “We look forward to beginning the early earth works on the project in the coming weeks following receipt of funds from the placing and subscription on admission,” said chief executive Stuart Brown.
