Euro 2016: Hungary 3, Portugal 3: Cristiano Ronaldo rediscovers golden touch in six-goal thriller to help Portugal into last 16
Hungary 3, Portugal 3
Portugal talisman Cristiano Ronaldo kick-started his Euro 2016 with two goals to salvage a draw against Group F winners Hungary and set up a last 16 match against Croatia.
The Real Madrid star even looked to have secured another meeting with England, only for Iceland to score a 94th-minute winner against Austria and pip Portugal to second place behind Hungary.
Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure in his first two games but burst into life in the second half yesterday with a brilliant backheel followed by a powerful header as his team came from behind three times.

Veteran former Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera, 37, half-volleyed Hungary in front but ex-Manchester United forward Nani equalised just before half-time in Lyon.
Surprise package Hungary twice regained the lead through deflected shots from Balazs Dzsudzsak early in the second half, but on both occasions Ronaldo levelled in style.
Ronaldo was part of the Portugal sides who inflicted painful penalty shoot-out defeats on England at this tournament in 2004 and at the World Cup two years later.
Instead of another date with the Three Lions, they will face Croatia, who finished first in Group D after beating defending champions Spain on Tuesday.
