EU referendum: With under 100 days to go Remain and Leave are neck-and-neck
With under 100 days to go until the all important EU referendum, the Leave and Remain camps are neck-and-neck as no sides have yet made a breakthrough.
According to a new poll Leave is level with Remain but many people are still undecided on how to vote.
When people who said they intend to vote in the referendum were asked if the UK should remain or leave the EU, 36 per cent said they would remain, 36 per cent would leave and 28 per cent didn’t know how they would vote, according to the poll by TNS.

When those who are undecided were asked what outcome of the referendum they generally favoured, the poll found 17 per cent lean towards Leave, while Remains’ support amongst undecideds stands at 21 per cent.
But looking at different age groups, Remain is favoured more strongly among younger voters. This becomes less prevalent as people get older and the reverse is observed in those aged 55 and older.
This could be beneficial to the Leave campaign given older people tend to be more likely to turn out to vote.

Luke Taylor, head of social and political attitudes at TNS UK said: "Although the two sides of the campaign are now level pegging, we are yet to see a decisive move on either side. The major problem for the "Remain" campaign at present is that their support draws significantly on younger people who are traditionally less likely to turn out in elections."
The TNS poll comes after a separate OBR poll which found people are more likely to vote for Britain to leave the EU than remain.
Campaign guru Lynton Crosby warned earlier this week that the final outcome of June's In/Out vote "remains in the balance" ahead of the referendum on 23 June.
