EE customers report major network outage in London
EE users have been left frustrated this morning at an apparent network outage across London and other parts of the UK.
Customers have been tweeting about issues with using 4G on their phones as well as with making voice calls.
@EE something odd going on with mobile data this morning. While on the train from Waterloo to Feltham I got this no data service error several times but couldn't click on it to see more info. This particular screenshot was at 09.06. Now 4G seems to be working fine. What happened? pic.twitter.com/CZ4H9qCjah

Website Downdetector, which logs when mobile networks experience major outages, received up to 82 reports this morning around 9.00am, although the number has decreased throughout the morning.
Besides London, areas in Birmingham, Manchester, Southampton and Leeds also seem to have been affected by the outage.
Of the reports it received, Downdetector said 41 per cent were about mobile internet, while 19 per cent had issues with having no mobile network.
At present, it's unclear what caused the issue or whether it has been resolved.
EE has been contacted for further details on the issues.
