Eat, drink, enjoy
ALL that Polo watching can be thirsty work, but thankfully there’s a wealth of treats and champers on offer. City A.M. checked out the best to come.
HARRODS HAVEN
Fans of Harrod’s fine food section will find a home away from home this year. The iconic store is opening its first ever pop-up food court. It’s also offering limited-edition luxury picnics for two.
MAHIKI MINGLING
Cocktails and glamour at the polo come courtesy of Mahiki this year. The nightclub – a famed haunt for celebrities from Kate Winslet to Prince Harry and Cat Deeley – is opening a special Tiki themed garden featuring a 25m bamboo cocktail bar. Aloha!
TOUCH OF CLASS
The Hurlingham Club is offering a variety of packages from picnics, to high tea and decadent lunches. Prices start at £135.

PUB LIFE
Guy Ritchie’s Mayfair boozer The Punchbowl is a haunt for just about every celebrity going. For the weekend it’s set to create a pop-up version of the original complete with hop bines, oak barrels hanging baskets, garden furniture and a selection of wines and beer. How civilised.
VIVA VEUVE
Nothing says polo decadence better than champagne and this year Veuve Cliquot – a regular at the MINT Polo in the Park – is set to outdo itself with the biggest champagne garden to date. We recommend quaffing a glass or two in the sunshine with friends. Bliss!
CHILD’S PLAY
The event will have a dedicated Kids’ Zone featuring Circus Activity Run, Bouncy Castles, Soft Play Centre, Fussball Table and Face Painting. Consider your babysitting done. £1 for every ticket purchased will also be donated to Walking with the Wounded.
