Easter weekend weather: Sunny Good Friday morning expected to give way to rain, hail, thunder and gusty winds
The majority of the UK is enjoying a sunny Good Friday morning – but enjoy it while you can.
"Chaos" and "hell" were reported across London's busiest train stations last night as people left the capital for the Easter weekend.
But it will no doubt feel worth the stress this morning, with the majority of the country enjoying sunshine. Even those lucky enough still be in the City of London are enjoying the good weather.

But the Met Office has warned clouds and strong to gale force winds with rain will reach the North West and Scotland this evening.
Tonight, things will turn wet and windy across northern and western areas. And while the south and east are expected to remain dry, the Met Office said the weather will be turning "cloudy and breezy".
And then the bad news for Saturday from the Met Office: "After a dry start in the east, heavy rain and strong winds will spread east across all parts with gales in places. Turning brighter and showery behind the rainband."
