DS Smith expects solid growth
Packaging and office products company DS Smith forecast the year to progress in line with expectations yesterday, but warned that the fourth-quarter could see a further increase in input costs. However, the producer of recycled packaging, whose customers include Procter & Gamble and Nestle, said it was confident about the remainder of the year despite the cost rise. DS Smith said in an update that trading since the end of October has been good, with like-for-like volume growth in corrugated packaging maintained at eight per cent.
