Max Büsser’s 10th anniversary limited edition timepiece is a petrolhead’s dream
It’s 10 years since one of Switzerland’s most creative horological brains, Maximilian Büsser, set up his “Max Büsser & Friends” brand, with the intention of working collaboratively with the finest watchmaking talents to create the most unusual, highly-specified timepieces.
This one is styled around 1970s digital driving watches, in which time was shown at the side to enable reading with your hand on the steering wheel.
Only this one is mechanical, with the display, which resembles a car’s speedometer, projected via crystal prisms. It’s available in four colours – red, blue green and grey – and each is limited to just 20 pieces. It’ll set you back in the region of £20,000.
