Dozens arrested in Leicester Square following England v Scotland match
A total of 25 people were arrested in Leicester Square last night with a further five arrested near Wembley following the England v Scotland Euros match.
Following the match, which saw a 0-0 draw between the two sides, crowds thronged into Leicester Square, despite police asking fans to stay away because of Covid concerns.

Arrests were made for drunk and disorderly behaviour, assault and drug possession.
Scotland Yard said: “13 arrests were for public order offences, six for drunk and disorderly, four for assault on police, three for assault, two related to Class A drugs and one each for breaching a dispersal order and breaching a banning order.”
