Double-jabbed? Two doses of Pfizer vaccine may only offer 64 per cent protection against Covid
The Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine may be less effective in preventing infections and symptomatic illness than previously thought, according to Israel’s Health Ministry.
Covid vaccine effectiveness dropped to 64 per cent since the beginning of last month, government officials warned. Earlier this year, this was 93 per cent.
The decline coincided with the spread of the Delta variant and the end of social distancing restrictions in Israel.
