Dilshan century provides boost for Sri Lanka
SRI LANKA captain Tillakaratne Dilshan struck a century as the tourists piled on the runs on day two of their tour match against Middlesex at Uxbridge.
Dilshan, who scored an unbeaten ton against England in their recent World Cup quarter final win, and his opening partner Tharanga Paranavitana (103) added 209 before both batsmen retired. Sri Lanka declared behind on 309-2, and Middlesex reached 26-1 by the close.
