The Venus Family from Victoria Arduino is the grande dame of espresso machines
Anthony Trollope asked the question, “what on earth could be more luxurious than a sofa, a book and a cup of coffee?” The answer: a sofa, a book and a cup of coffee made with a Victoria Arduino espresso machine. The first Victoria Arduino was created in Turin in 1905 by Pier Teresio Arduino, who dedicated his creation to his wife. Since then, “Victoria Arduino” has been synonymous with exquisite Italian design and the best cappuccinos known to man. The quality of the bean is just the start – you’ve got to have a machine that knows what to do with it. The Venus Family (pictured), which has 983 parts and was built by 11 craftsmen, is made from hammered brass and represents the finest in Italian craftsmanship. It doesn’t come cheap, but then again, no price is too high for a good cup of coffee.
