Covid unlocking fuels sales growth at Ten Entertainment
Robust consumer spending and the release of pent-up demand after the lifting of Covid restrictions fuelled sales growth at bowling and family entertainment provider Ten Entertainment.
Total sales growth since reopening on 17 May has been robust, up 27.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2019 – before the pandemic.

Pent up demand and foreign travel restrictions have helped contribute to the growth, as consumers increased spending on activities that have been restricted for much of the last year, the company said in a trading update published today.
Competitive pricing contributed to securing customers.
Strong reopening sales figures pushed the company back into profit and positive cash generation.
Despite having to comply with the rule of six and table service only, Ten Entertainment was able to keep 1,103 of their bowling lanes opens due to investment in lane dividers.
The company also noted their underlying finances is in a good position, with over £23m of liquidity headroom.
