Commuter chaos: Sinkhole disrupts rush hour timetable from London Bridge
If you travel home via London Bridge, you might want to look away now – or, at the very least, don't look down.
Network Rail has discovered a sinkhole underneath the tracks at Forest Hill and it's causing major delays between London Bridge and East Croydon.

Southern is currently advising that journeys may be delayed by up to 40 minutes, cancelled or diverted until the end of service. A live departure board can be found here.
Customers looking for a way to get home to soak up the sunshine have been advised to try alternative services from London Victoria or London Blackfriars instead.
Those who travel on Southern's services day in, day out are unlikely to be pleased about the situation, especially since a slew of cancellations and delays from the train operator recently pushed a group of fed up commuters to protest at Victoria station during rush hour.
