Co-op wants your input – but has already botched its survey
The Co-op Group is “asking the nation for help” it announced this morning.
Rest assured, it isn’t the latest cry from its troubled bank – rather, the group has admitted it’s “lost touch” with customers.
The “Have Your Say” survey is asking members for views on the future of the group and the “big issues” facing communities across the UK.
Unfortunately, however, it hasn't got off to the most promising start – and those eager to contribute ASAP will have to sit tight – as the link on the Co-op's press pages isn't working:
Happy to help, we've got the proper link in case you want to air your concerns now.
"Have Your Say" doesn't just ask members about improving goods and services, you'll be asked what the Co-op should do with its profits, and whether it should make political donations.
The results will feed into a wider strategic review, which the group will unveil in May.
Chief executive Euan Sutherland says the move is “unprecedented” given the size of the group.
In recent years The Co-operative has lost touch with its customers and members and with the communities in which it operates – we haven’t been listening. As a new management team we are focused on renewing The Co-operative and the UK public will be vital to that process.
If we are to successfully serve the communities in which we operate, to become as relevant today as we were in the past, we need to hear directly from the communities and the people we serve.
Update: Following the earlier hiccup, things have now been sorted, the Co-op assures us.
@Pete_Spence thanks for bringing this to our attention but it's all sorted now 🙂 have you had your say yet? EB
