Clinton emails: no criminality found
The FBI announced this evening that it had found no evidence of criminal behaviour in its latest investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails.
The director of the FBI, James Comey wrote to Congress to update politicians on his findings. The letter was released on Twitter by Californian Democrat Adam Schiff.

Authorities controversially launched a new investigation in Clinton’s use of a private email account to transfer sensitive records on 28 October.
The investigation followed a similar examination earlier in the year of Clinton’s email records, focussing on her actions while acting as US secretary of state.
In July, the FBI concluded that while Clinton had been careless in her actions she had not acted criminally.
Yesterday the FBI said: “Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton.”
Comey’s letter added that authorities had done everything they could to ensure that they were able to report in a timely manner.
“The FBI investigation team has been working around the clock to process and review a large volume of emails from a device obtained in connection with an unrelated criminal investigation,” the letter outlined.
While Schiff questioned the timing of the investigation, he welcomed the speedy work by the FBI.
“While the original letter should never have been sent so close to an election, the expeditious review of these emails should put to rest – once and for all indulged in by the Trump campaign and others,” he said.
The US dollar climbed by one per cent against the Japanese yen to ¥104.05 on the news, while the euro fell 0.6 per cent to $1.1066.
