CITY VIEWS: do you think your next choice of car Will be electric?
MARK DAVIES | NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK
“I doubt I will buy an electric car. I have family that lives far away in places such as Wales and the north of England, so I need to be able to travel distances that I don’t think an electric car is suitable to handle. If a model is built that can hold a charge for longer I may revisit the idea.”
DAVID HALL | MULSANNE PARTNERSHIP
“No, I don’t think my next car will be electric. I like cars that are bigger and faster. No one has built a good enough electric vehicle that can compete with the size and strength of something like an SUV or the luxury of a Porsche or Ferrari. The idea of an electric car is not something I have looked into.”
ARCHIE SYKES | HAMPTONS INTERNATIONAL
“A lot of factors go into buying a car, but yes, I would consider it. It really depends on the car, the price and the overall look of the car. You need to take all of that into consideration before you buy a car or even consider buying a car, so I wouldn’t say no to buying electric before I looked at all of the factors.”
