Deloitte
The business advisory firm has appointed Vince Niblett as the new global leader of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s audit and enterprise risk services practice.
Niblett originally joined Deloitte in 1980 and has since been seconded to a number of assignments across the globe, including posts in Australia, Luxembourg, the Middle East and South America. He is currently UK head of audit at the firm.
Nomura Securities
The investment bank has hired Aram Rubinson as a managing director and senior analyst for its US retail equity research team.
Rubinson joins from Highside Capital Management, where he managed the retail and consumer component of a global long/short equity portfolio. Prior to that, he was a senior research analyst at Banc of America Securities.
Majedie Asset Management
The boutique asset manager has appointed Simon Todd and Michael Nickson, both formerly of Odey Asset Management, to establish a new global equity business for the firm.
The pair co-managed the Odey Allegra global fund in their previous role. Todd started his career at Philips & Drew before joining MFS Investment Management to manage global and European equity portfolios. Nickson previously worked at MFS Investment Management and Goldman Sachs.
CDC Group
The development finance group has appointed Valentine Chitalu as a non-executive director.
Chitalu is a Zambian entrepreneur specialising in private equity and local private sector development.
He previously worked for CDC Capital Partners in London and Lusaka, focusing on identifying investment opportunities in southern Africa.
AT Kearney
Elizabeth Sands has joined the management consultancy firm as principal of its organisational transformation and change practice.
Sands joins from 3i, where she headed up its active partnership activity in the buyouts business. Prior to that, she spent 12 years working as a consultant.
Signia Wealth
The wealth manager has hired Matthew Stemp as an executive director in the investment management division and Greg Malone as a director in the private banking team.
Stemp joins from UBS Global Asset Management, while Malone was a director at Arbuthnot Latham Private Bank.
