Greencore
The convenience foods group has appointed business grandee Eric Nicoli, the chairman of cinema operator Vue Entertainment, as a non-executive director.
In addition to his role at Vue, Nicoli is also currently senior partner at fund of hedge funds Sunningdale Capital. He was previously chief executive of United Biscuits and chairman and chief executive of now-embattled music group EMI before it was sold to Terra Firma.
Quilter
The investment management firm has appointed Amrendra Sinha and Patricia Tomas Garcia as equity analysts in its research team.
Sinha joins from F&C Asset Management, where he was a fund manager and research analyst. He will be responsible for analysing the global chemicals and aerospace sectors.
Garcia, who joins from AIG Investments, will cover the travel and leisure sectors.

The market data consultancy has hired Peter Williams as its new director of operations for the EMEA region.
Williams has worked at the company for four years as a market data consultant. Prior to that, he held in-house broking and investment banking positions at the likes of BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse.
He will now be tasked with the operational management of its 40-strong EMEA team.
Jones Lang LaSalle
The property consultancy firm has appointed Rob Bruce as an associate director in London. Bruce will join the European research team and will work with the residential division, headed up by James Thomas.
He joins from Hamptons International, where he headed up residential research for three years. Prior to that, he was a research associate at investment bank Morgan Stanley, covering pan-European real estate equities.
