LaSalle Investment Management
The investment manager has appointed Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz as managing director for Europe and a member of its nine-strong global management committee. Lloyd-Hurwitz will also be a director of LaSalle’s parent company, Jones Lang LaSalle.
She has over 20 years of experience in the real estate and asset management industry, most recently as a managing director at Macquarie Group Property Advisors.
Oriel Securities
The stockbroker has appointed Bim Sandhu as a non-executive director.
Sandhu is currently chief executive of the Santon Group of development companies and has considerable experience in the property sector, having previously worked as a director of the Courage Pub Company and as chief executive of Raven Mount.
Denton Wilde Sapte
The law firm has hired nuclear energy partners Rupert Cowen and Jonathan Leech from rival Hammonds.
Cowen and Leech will both focus on nuclear and construction work, having previously gained experience on projects including working for the winner of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s £17bn Sellafield M&O contract.
White & Case
Christian Pilkington has joined the law firm’s London office as a partner in the financial restructuring and insolvency practice.
Pilkington joins from rival Skadden and has previously worked on a list of high-profile and cross-border restructurings, most recently those of British Vita and Orion Cable.
