The accountancy firm has appointed Martin Caddick to lead its risk and business continuity management services team.
Caddick joins from insurance broking and risk advisory firm Marsh, where he developed a successful business continuity practice and worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies in the UK and overseas.
He also previously held director roles at Fujitsu Consulting.
Coutts
The private bank has announced that Lord Hurd of Westwell will retire from his position as deputy chairman and board member at the end of the year.
Hurd, who has been on the board for 11 years, was elected to parliament in 1974 and served as secretary of state for Northern Ireland, the Home Office and Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs.
Fat Prophets
Rupert Nathan has been appointed as head of UK fund management at the independent research and fund management group.
He has previously held advisory and trading roles in most major asset classes at the likes of Potter Warburg, BZW, Flemings and Banque Nationale de Paris.
Jardine Lloyd Thompson
The risk and employee benefits consultancy has appointed Richard Harvey as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
Harvey’s career in the insurance industry has included periods as chief executive of both Norwich Union and Aviva, where he was at the helm between 2001 and 2007. He was also chair of the Association of British Insurers between 2003 and 2005.
Harvey is currently a non-executive and chairman-elect of consumer giant PZ Cussons.
Scottish Resources Group
The coal, land and renewable energy business has hired Nicholas Parker as a non-executive director.
Parker currently holds non-executive directorships at Pension Insurance Corporation Holdings, the Wastepack Group and the Continental Farmers Group.
He previously worked as a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led the European corporate finance government advisory practice from 1997.
Insight Investment
The asset manager has appointed Adam Mossakowski as a credit fund manager within its fixed income team.
Mossakowski joins from F&C, where he was responsible for a range of institutional and retail funds, and has also previously worked at Axa Investment Managers.
In his new role, he will focus on UK portfolios and report to Peter Bentley, head of UK credit.
