GMT Communications Partners
The private equity group has promoted Natalie Tydeman, pictured, to partner and Vikram Krishna to principal.
Tydeman joined the group in 2007 as a senior adviser from Fremantle media, where she was a senior vice president.
Krishna has been at GMT since 2005. He was formerly a manager at PwC, focusing on due diligence and traditional audit assignments for private equity clients.
Lincoln International
The mid-market investment bank has appointed former Close Brothers managing director Alka Bali to head up its UK consumer sector team.
Bali spent over 17 years at Close Brothers, where she headed up its leisure and retail advisory practice, advising clients such as Carluccio’s, Majestic Wine, Cannons Health Clubs, Austin Reed and Early Learning Centre.
Prior to that, she worked at Standard Chartered.
Merchant Securities
Simon Clements is joining the broker and investment manager as its new head of corporate finance, after John East said he would step down from the role at the end of March.
Clements joined John East & Partners, now part of Merchant Securities, in 2000 and was a director from 2004 until November last year.
PricewaterhouseCoopers
The accountancy firm has appointed Martine Trouard-Riolle to its pension credit advisory team.
Trouard-Riolle, who joins from Penfida, becomes a director of the group and will advise clients on the Pension Regulator’s powers as well as on employer covenant.
She previously worked as head of corporate risk management at the Pensions Regulator.
VAM Funds
The specialist investment boutique has hired Andrew Janes and Dean Currie as business development managers.
Janes has over 15 years of experience as an investment sales professional, and joins from SIP Nordic UK. Currie has worked for the likes of Aegon and Fidelity and joins from Ignition Investments, where he worked most recently as director of investment sales.

The Russian broker has appointed two leading Russia and CIS market figures to its financing services group team.
Temo Jorbenadze and Dmitry Perman will join the investment banking group as head and director respectively. Jorbenadze previously worked as a director for investment banking at VTB Capital in London, while Perman was a director at Moscow-based boutique advisory firm Advance Capital.

The law firm has appointed George Marriott, Jonathan Greensmith and Robert Drury from regional firm Gorvins to its professional discipline and regulation team.
