Astbury Marsden
Mark O’Reilly has been appointed as managing director of the financial services recruitment firm’s Asia Pacific operations. O’Reilly will be based in Hong Kong and will continue to lead the expansion of the company’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices. O’Reilly has more than 13 years’ experience in financial services recruitment, including three years in Australia. Astbury Marsden plans to open a new office in Sydney in the first quarter of 2011.
PSigma
William Manuel has been appointed as associate director in the business development team at the investment and asset management firm. Manuel has more than 24 years’ experience in the financial services industry, most recently at Punter Southall.
HSBC
Rob Carver has been appointed as deputy head of commercial segment, UK, at HSBC. Carver will be responsible for managing the bank’s commercial banking operations in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Mayfair Capital
The property investment firm has appointed Stephen Musgrave as chairman. Musgrave has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial property, at firms including Grosvenor, London Capital Holdings and Stockley.
RBS Insurance
Andrew Palmer has been appointed as non-executive director of the insurance giant. Previously, Palmer spent 21 years at Legal General and is also a member of the Financial Reporting Council’s Financial Reporting Review Panel.
Jones Lang LaSalle
Marc Nardini has been appointed as a surveyor in the firm’s London-based Real Estate workout team. Nardini will specialise in working with banks, loan providers, insolvency practitioners and restructuring professionals in the sector of stressed and distressed real estate.
Signia Wealth
The wealth management firm has appointed Laurent Jeanmart as director and Andrew Larsen as associate director. Jeanmart, who will manage the firm’s new hedge fund proposition, joins from GLG Partners and Larsen joins from Coutts & Co.
Electra Partners
The private equity fund manager has appointed Alex Fortescue as chief investment partner. Fortescue joins from Apax Partners.
