BlackRock
The asset manager has hired Kendrick Wilson, a former Goldman Sachs banker and ex-US Treasury adviser, as a vice chairman.
Wilson joined the US Treasury in 2008 to advise then- secretary Hank Paulson on how best to navigate the financial crisis.
BlackRock chief Larry Fink said: “[Wilson’s] unique perspective, informed by his vast experience in the industry, will be valuable to our clients as they consider the changing landscape.”
Société Générale
The bank has hired Fiona Paulus to its corporate and investment banking team as head of coverage and investment banking for the UK, a role based in London.
Paulus was previously head of energy and resources for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region at Royal Bank of Scotland, having held the same position at ABN Amro before it was bought by RBS in 2007.
In addition, Andrew Nason has joined SocGen as a senior banker and head of the UK Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Nason was formerly managing director of FIG UK at Lazard.

The alternative investment boutique has appointed Glen Stewart as a business development manager.
Stewart has over a decade of experience within the investment and tax sectors. He joins from Ingenious Media Investments, where he specialised in high quality alternative investments, structured to mitigate downside and enhance returns.
Prior to that, he was a sales manager at Deloitte and a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
NetPlay TV
The interactive TV gaming firm has announced the resignation of finance director Nichola Halverson, following the group’s decision to relocate its head office, finance, billing and marketing team to London.
Halverson will continue to work for NetPlay as a consultant, while Charles Butler, the former chief executive of Bowman International, takes over as finance director.
BrainJuicer Group
The market research group has appointed Alex Batchelor as its new chief operating officer.
Batchelor started his career at consumer goods giant Unilever, before joining advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi as a planning director. Since then, he has worked as vice president of global brand at Orange, marketing director of the Royal Msil, and chief marketing officer at TomTom.

Hugh Zentmyer has been appointed as a board director at the investment research company.
Zentmyer, 63, was formerly executive vice president of Illinois Tool Works, an industrial technology manufacturer, until his retirement in January 2009.
