Aviva Investors
Aviva Investors has appointed a new client portfolio manager for fixed income, Raphaelle Moysan (pictured). She will be responsible for liaising with potential clients with a focus on fixed income and absolute return. She will be based in London and report to Anne-Sophie Girault, while also working with the fixed income teams globally. She moves to Aviva from National Australia Bank and has worked at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch.
Foreign & Colonial
F&C Investments has made some hires to its newly integrated Investment Solutions business. Richard Watts has joined as head of investment solutions, having worked at F&S for five years, before which he was at JP Morgan. Ernst Hagen is moving to the business from Horeca & Catering, a Dutch industry pensions scheme, to lead the fiduciary investment desk. And in addition, Peter Hill-King will join as head of manager solution and David White has moved over from Aon to be director of manager selection.
Rathbone
Rathbone Unit Trust Management has appointed Greg Mullins and Karl Heap as regional sales managers. Heap will be focused on the north of England and Northern Ireland while Mullins will be in charge of London, the south and Scotland. Both hires will be reporting to Mike Webb, chief executive. Their appointment takes the size of the sales team to eight. Previously, Mullins worked at M&G, while Heap has worked at LV Asset Management and Castlestone Management.
Hawkpoint
Neil McDaid has moved to Hawkpoint from BDO in order to be a director in the debt advisory team. Before working at BDO, he worked at Barclays UK where he was involved in over 50 deals including numerous acquisitions. He also worked for BZW and CSFB as a credit officer.
Altona
Altona, the AIM-listed energy company, has appointed Peter Fagiano as executive director responsible for project technology. He has retired from heading up Jacobs Engineering UK and formerly worked at the ABB Group in oil and engineering.
