Livebookings today announces the appointment of Colin Tenwick as chief executive and Ian Cole as chief financial officer. Tenwick and Cole previously took Stepstone, an Oslo listed job board and HR software provider, and built its revenues from €17m to over €120m before selling the business in 2009. They have joined to oversee the continuing rapid growth of the company, to cement its position as the leading global online reservations and marketing service.
Neptune
Neptune has announced the appointment of Piers Harrison as deputy finance director and head of operational risk. A newly created role, Harrison reports to Robert Warner, finance director, and joins Neptune from Matterley Asset Management, a division of Charles Stanley. Having co-founded Matterley, a value-focused investment management boutique, Harrison remained with the business when it joined Charles Stanley in 2009.

International legal practice Norton Rose has announced the appointment of Chris Nicolle as a senior adviser to its real estate practice. Nicolle takes up the role with a remit to help the practice build on its commercial and technical knowledge of the real estate market. Nicolle began his career as a solicitor at Freshfields, before taking up various corporate finance roles with firms such as Natwest Markets, BZW, and DTZ Holdings. For the last two years Nicolle has been the head of Savills Capital Advisors, who he will continue to represent.
Actis
Actis, a private equity investor in the emerging markets, has announced the promotion of four directors to partner: Mumbai-based, Sanjiv Aggarwal and Shomik Mukherjee; and Beijing-based, Tao Sun and Dong Zhong. Aggarwal is responsible for Actis’s Infrastructure business in South Asia. Sanjiv joined Actis’s India team in 2008 from Citigroup. Mukherjee is responsible for managing investments in Nilgiri’s, Paras Pharmaceuticals, Halonix and Sterling Hospitals and driving new investments in the consumer and retail sector. Sun is a member of Actis’s global consumer and retail sector team, and focuses primarily on the education sector. Zhong focuses on the consumer and retail sector.
