Lloyds Banking Group
Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets has hired three new senior members to its global financial institutions team. Adam Daniels, pictured, joins as head of specialist finance and intermediaries from Ernst & Young, where he was an M&A partner. Mandeep Ahluwalia moves over from Standard Bank to become managing director of relationships for the global banks team. Richard Herder joins the US team from Deutsche Bank as head of insurance for North America.
The Carlyle Group
The private equity group has appointed Benjamin Du Boulay as a director in London, reporting to Robert Hodges and Mark Harris, managing director and director respectively of the UK real estate team.
Du Boulay joins from Invista Real Estate, where he was a director and head of the central London offices.
In his new role, he will work across Carlyle’s UK portfolio, but will hold specific responsibility for the White Tower portfolio of six London properties, which the firm acquired for £671m in July.
HSBC
Anthony Hingley and Hicham Najem have been appointed as directors of the London-based investment advisory group at HSBC’s private banking arm.
Hingley was previously an investment adviser at HSBC Private Bank in Doha, Qatar, having joined in 1999.
Najem joins from Tactical Global Management and has also previously worked at Brevan Howard.

The recruitment group has hired Aidan Anglin as the new chief executive of its European and Middle Eastern operations, effective from 1 November.
Anglin moves over from Adecco, where he was managing director of the group’s technology brands.
