FTSE Group
The global index provider has appointed Sudir Raju as managing director for its custom index business.
Raju has worked for Dow Jones and Stoxx Indexes since 2004, latterly as leader of the Stoxx custom index business. He has a strong technical background with experience extending across index design, production, reviews and operations, as well as sales and marketing of custom indices.
Barclays UK Pension Fund
The fund has hired Stergios Saloustros to its in-house investment team as head of dynamic asset allocation (DAA).
Saloustros previously worked alongside the fund’s chief investment officer Tony Broccardo at F&C Asset Management, where he led the firm’s quantitative DAA strategies, risk management and portfolio construction for the firm’s multi-asset mandates and pension fund clients. Prior to that, he worked at Invesco.
Hargreaves Lansdown
The financial services group said yesterday that Andrew Christian, the managing director of its vantage and broking operations, has resigned with immediate effect. It did not explain the reason for his departure but insisted he “leaves on extremely friendly terms”.
Christian has worked for the group for the past 19 years and has been responsible for building up the stockbroking business, becoming a director in 1998.
DLA Piper
The law firm has hired David Eatough as a partner in its structured finance team in London.
Eatough previously spent 12 years as a partner with Clifford Chance’s London-based global debt and equity capital markets group.
He has also worked at Morgan Stanley, where he structured derivatives-based solutions, as well as spending stints at NatWest Capital Markets and Credit Suisse.
