City Moves who’s switching jobs
Hansteen
The property investment firm has hired Mark Ovens and James Havery to its team.
Ovens started his career with Arlington Securities in 1987 and joined Ashtenne in 1995, while Havery joined DTZ Debenham Thorpe in 1995 and moved to Ashtenne in 2002. After the sale of the firm to Warner Estate in 2005, both continued to work on the Ashtenne Industrial Fund as director and senior regional director respectively.
Qatalyst Group
The technology-focused merchant banking boutique has appointed Ian MacLeod as a partner and head of global software and services investment banking.
MacLeod, 44, was most recently managing director and global head of software investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
He has also previously gained experience working at ABS Capital Partners, Alex Brown and First Union Capital Markets.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
The law firm has appointed Tim Bee as a new corporate partner.
Bee is a highly experience corporate finance lawyer, advising on M&A transactions, disposals and corporate restructuring. He joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where he was a partner for ten years.
StatPro Group
The portfolio analytics provider has appointed Tim Dennis as European sales director.
Dennis formerly spent five years as an officer in the Army before moving to the City, initially as a London Metal Exchange commodity trader. He joins StatPro from money broker Prebon Marshall Yamane.
