The property investor has appointed Uwe Rempis as head of asset management for Northern Europe.
Rempis has been at the firm since 2007 and has been actively involved with asset management and acquisition for a number of its German and European funds. He originally joined from Allianz Immobilien, where he also worked in property and asset management.
Pearl Group
The closed fund operator has hired Daniel Godfrey to the new position of head of corporate communications.
Reporting to chief executive Jonathan Moss, Godfrey will also work with chairman Ron Sandler, who heads nationalised lender Northern Rock. He joins from the Association of Investment Companies, where he was director general for eleven years.

The merchant banking group is looking for a new head of treasury after long-serving director Martin Orkin told staff this week he was stepping down.
Orkin, a well-liked figure within the bank, had been due to retire in three years but will now quit his role as director and group treasurer in January next year.
He originally joined the bank in 1987 as treasury manager.
I2BF
The cleantech-focused investment management group has appointed David Waserstein as director of investments.
Waserstein joins from US-based private equity firm Hudson Clean Energy Partners.
In his new role, he will be responsible for I2BF’s venture capital portfolio, new investments and the structuring and raising of future VC funds.
4 Eyes
The indirect tax consultancy firm has appointed Cedric Andrew, formerly of HM Revenue and Customs, as managing consultant.
At HMRC, Andrew was deputy chief investigation officer and MTIC national coordinator with experience of both criminal and civil cases involving VAT, customs and excise duties.
He is also a past chairman of the World Customs Organisation’s commercial fraud working group and the EU VAT fraud information and intelligence forum.

The Aim-listed mobile email and data group has appointed Michael Edward Wilson Jackson as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
Jackson, 58, a prolific small-cap and technology investor, qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand and spent 23 years as a director of Sage, 15 years of which were as chairman.
He is also the founder and chairman of Elderstreet Investments.
