Credit Suisse
The investment bank has appointed Levente Kulcsar as a director and head of exchanged traded funds for Germany and Austria. He joins the firm from Commerzbank, where he was head of international sales for Comstage ETF. The firm has also promoted Annabelle Wegner to ETF specialist head for institutional clients for the same region.
Nomura
The Japanese investment bank said yesterday it has expanded its European equities sales team by appointing nine new senior staff across the continent. Thomas Stein joins from Citigroup as head of pan-Europe research sales for Germany. Raphaelle Vergnes takes up the same role in France, as does as Anders Haehnel in the Nordics. Hellfried Schram, Thomas Weichert, Sven Kruger, Eleonora Villa, Frederic Cezard and Christophe Biedermann have also been appointed.

Andy Baldwin has become managing partner for the professional services firm’s Europe, Middle East, India and Africa financial services business. Baldwin has more than 20 years’ business advisory experience with E&Y, IBM and Cap Gemini.
