The spread betting firm has appointed Sandy Jadeja as its new chief technical analyst.
Jadeja has 23 years of experience in technical analysis, trading psychology and global financial markets commentary. Prior to joining City Index, he was the chief market strategist at FX-focused trading platform provider Capital Market Services. He has also worked at ODL Securities as chief market strategist and at Finspreads as chief technical analyst.
Clifford Chance
The global law firm has appointed Jeremy Sandelson as head of the London litigation practice, in addition to his role as global head of litigation.
The move follows Nick Munday’s transfer to the firm’s Moscow office in order to develop the Russian litigation practice.
Bluefin Corporate Consulting
The consultancy business, part of Bluefin Advisory Services, has expanded its London practice with the appointment of Mark Evans and Val Simpson as client directors.
Both join AON Consulting, where they worked in similar consultancy roles.
Eversheds
The law firm has promoted Richard Ward to the role of London senior litigation partner, replacing John Heaps, who recently became chairman.
Ward was previously head of capital assets at the firm, having originally joined some 20 years ago. He specialises in advising the construction industry.
Barings
The asset manager has hired Naoki Toyoda as head of mutual fund sales and client service in Japan, to support the growth of its Toshin fund range.
Toyoda joins from Aberdeen Asset Management in Japan, where he was senior manager of business development, responsible for developing a new retail business following the merger of Aberdeen Toushikomon Kabushiki Kaisha with Credit Suisse Asset Management.
City Asset Management
The asset manager has appointed Mark Russell-Stracey as a senior portfolio manager.
Russell-Stracey was formerly head of UK equities at Arbuthnot Latham.
