Grainger
Laure Duhot will be joining the UK’s largest listed residential property landlord in the new role of director of strategic capital markets. She will oversee Grainger’s evolving business strategy, with specific focus on the creation and management of new joint ventures, funds and strategic alliances. Duhot has worked extensively in investment banking and global equity raising, most recently as head of equity raising for Pradera. She was also one of the founding partners of Macquarie Capital Partners.
Morrison Foerster
Justin Stock has joined the law firm’s London office as partner in the corporate group. Stock’s experience is in cross border acquisitions and disposals for trade buyers and he will be a core element in the development of the firm’s London corporate and capital markets practices.
Superglass Holdings
Superglass, the UK’s only independent manufacturer of mineral wool insulation, has appointed John Colley as non-executive director with immediate effect. He will succeed Tim Ross as chairman of the company on 31 March. Colley was previously group managing director of BPB and managing director of St Gobain.
MetLife Assurance
MetLife Assurance, a provider of risk transfer solutions in the UK and Ireland, has named Wayne Daniel as chief executive with immediate effect. Daniel joined MetLife Assurance as vice president in 2011, and succeeds Dan DeKeizer, who is now vice president, global employee benefits, of MetLife.
Aon Hewitt
The human resources business of Aon Corporation has announced the appointment of Colin Haines to its global retirement and investment practice. Haines was partner and consulting actuary at LCP for five years, before which he worked as an in-house pensions strategist at BAE Systems.
Lamprell
Lamprell, a provider of diversified engineering and contracting products and services to the oil and gas renewables industry, has appointed Deena Mattar as non-executive director. Following the retirement of Richard Raynaut from the board, Mattar is expected to assume chairmanship of the company’s audit committee. Mattar served as group finance director of Kier Group from 2001 to 2010.
Miller Buckfire
The advisory bank has announced Ron Kubick as a managing director, effective immediately. Prior to this, Kubick was a managing director at Morgan Stanley, and was previously employed with Barclays Capital. He has also spent time at GE Capital and has a wealth of experience in restructuring capital markets.
