STM Group
The financial services provider has appointed Julian Telling to the board as non-executive chairman, replacing Bernard Gallagher, who stepped down on 9 May. Telling established independent financial adviser Sumus in 1983, overseeing the firm’s AIM listing in 2005 and its merger with Lighthouse in 2008. He is a director of six companies, including Capitecs and Brightside Group, and a former director of Falcon International Investment Management.
Meyer Bergman
The real estate investment manager has appointed Renee Moran as asset manager to support Mark Gamble, head of asset management, to manage the firm’s UK assets, initially focusing on The Exchange Shopping Centre in Ilford. Renee joins from Hammerson, where she held the role of asset manager for the past five years.
Norton Rose Group
Michael Wilton has joined as a corporate finance partner in the Beijing office. Wilton joins from Norton Rose’s Melbourne office, where he was head of the M&A and Equity Capital Markets Group for Norton Rose Australia.
Shore Capital
The AIM-listed investment banking group has appointed Shay Ramalingam, formerly of Nomura Private Equity, as an investment director for the Puma VCTs. Shore Capital has also appointed Yuen Low, formerly of RBC Capital Markets, as a mining analyst.
MAM Funds
The fund management group has appointed Martin Turner to work alongside Gervais Williams to manage the Diverse Income Trust, a new investment trust. Turner joins MAM Funds following his recent resignation from his role as head of small mid-cap equities at adviser Collins Stewart.

Norbert Fullerton, formerly of Towers Watson, has been appointed as director, consulting and advisory services, EMEA at the investment consultant.

The real-estate bridging financier has appointed former Goldman Sachs managing director Richard O’Toole to its board of directors. O’Toole is currently a non-executive director of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe.

George Nicholas has been appointed as executive vice president in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels Capital Markets team for the UK and Northern Europe.
