InvestSure
Online property investment platform InvestSure has appointed Andrew Pratt (pictured) as a non-executive director as it continues its expansion. Andrew will remain a senior residential consultant at Patrizia, one of the world’s top four residential real estate investors. Andrew was previously the UK managing director at Grainger and a property consultant at CBRE.
Maseco
Maseco Private Wealth has expanded its investment team by appointing Helge Kostka to direct its investment policy and strategy. Helge also leads the research team that works closely with the academic community to identify relevant applications for Maseco’s discretionary portfolios. Prior to joining, Helge helped to establish and grow the presence of Research Affiliates in Europe. He has also worked for Aviva Investors in London, serving as head of product management and head of product specialists in the areas of investment solutions, equity, and multi-asset products.
Waverton Investment Management
Waverton Investment Management has announced the appointment of Ian Coptcoat as a business development manager, working alongside financial advisers in the eastern region. Ian will work closely alongside Mark Barrington (marketing director) and William Tong (business development manager) to continue to support and develop their relationships with financial advisers across the UK. Ian brings over 30 years’ experience in working alongside financial advisers. He has joined from Standard Life where he was part of a team of account managers.
RPC
City-headquartered law firm RPC has hired international trade specialist Stuart Shepherd from Ince & Co to join its commercial disputes team in London. Stuart was recently global head of trade at Ince & Co, where he was a partner for more than 25 years. As part of his commercial litigation practice, Stuart also advises on complex commercial fraud cases, notably the massive Fiona Trust litigation.
